The Boss DD-3T Digital Delay is the all-grown-up-big-brother of the iconic, used, abused and beloved, DD-3. This stompbox houses outstanding, intuitive and renowned response with a healthy dose of streamlined functionality. The added 'T' in this version of the DD-3 stands for Tap Tempo, meaning beat-synched, rhythmic digital delay effects can now be created. The tap tempo can be activated by holding the pedal down for two seconds or jacking in an external footswitch (not included). In tap tempo mode, you get 800 ms of delay time and can use the mode button to set subdivisions of the tap (quarter note triplet, pointed eighth note or quarter note). With this expansion, the BOSS DD-3T is bound to find space on your pedalboard and might even boot out your standard DD-3.

DD-3T: Functionality for the Digital Musician

For all the creative kids, BOSS have added a Short Loop mode. This function was first introduced with the DD-2 and DD-3 and is better known as the Hold mode, allowing you to record a loop of up to 800 ms, then play it back continuously for mini jam sessions, the testing of ideas or just interesting, accenting little stutters. Another little practical improvement is the shifting of the Direct Out to sit alongside the Main Output. Now, you can easily create a Wet / Dry setup and send your wet, effected signal and your dry, un-effected signal to different amplifiers, opening up a number of ways to integrate the BOSS DD-3T into your rig.
